A new study by researchers at Uganda’s parliament shows that 60 % of MPs in previous parliaments have not been re-elected by their constituents after serving their five-year term in office.

The study, which analysed elections from 1996 to 2011, singled out West Budama Constituency as the area with the highest turnover rate in Uganda.
